I tried to make something more surreal. Even though it is not scary I think it is strange and it could still be uncanny image. Anyway, as I've said, I still like the hobo station more and that's why I'm confused, not sure what I can do now then.
I like the tree idea - though again, it seems to me that a smaller tree, growing out through the platform would do the trick, as opposed to this big, 'epic' moment you're depicting here... something strange, surreal and somehow silent.
